So I'll keep my eyes peeled and bring all of you up to speed as I learn details. Though for the time being Sony will be coming come out with a 16gig flash drive next month. The big downside is we will not see this state side at that time. It seems that the drive will be able to take a bit of a beating at least when it comes to temperatures. The drive will be able to take down to 13 degrees below 0 and up to 185 degrees Fahrenheit. So the good news is if you happen to leave the drive in the car you should still be OK when you remember it and grab it from the glove box a few hours later.

Sony and SanDisk to hit 2TB flash card
The nice people over at Cnet have an interesting read about the new Sony SanDiskin collaboration the works. Out of all the things that need to be worked on to get this very ambitious task is to get a new name. The current name that was given for the project is "Memory Stick for Extended High Capacity." The biggest hurdle they will have is the transfer rate. Flash is not known for its fast sustained transfer rates.
